Welcoming Jonny Nirenberg to Team Cowboy!

We're thrilled to announce Jonny Nirenberg has joined Team Cowboy as a Principal on our investment team, based in the Bay Area, yeehaw! 🤠

Jonny will spend his time finding and backing exceptional early-stage AI companies, across both infrastructure and applications. 

We met Jonny in one of the best ways - by hearing great things about him from founders and other early stage investors. A well-known founder told us, “I’’ve worked with a lot of investors. Often you can get technical fluency and depth, OR interpersonal skills. Jonny has both, which is REALLY rare. He is more technical than many investors I’ve met, but I also really enjoy talking with him.” A former investing colleague had similar sentiments:  “he has the best instincts for people and opportunities, an incredible ability to go deep and to crank, and is incredibly high character.”

Jonny joined us from Company Ventures in NYC, where he invested in early-stage AI apps and data infrastructure companies, and found and worked closely with exciting companies like Rogo, Noetica, Prosper, and Flora.  Before that, he worked at The Chernin Group in the Bay Area, finding and supporting companies like Oura, Equip, Everly Health, and Papa.
